He was born in Córdoba, Argentina, in the autumn of 1954. His father was tailor and his mother carried the lights of the salted desert from the north of Argentina. He received his first and fundamental artistic formation in his childhood, from the twilight in the kitchen, from the soap operas listened in the hour of siesta, from the stories narrated by his uncles in the long summer nights. In the year 1974 he enters the School of Arts of the University of Córdoba. He discovers Velázquez, Rembrandt and Hugo Pratt. A bit later he begins to collaborate in newspapers and magazines as illustrator. He participates in different film projects and together with a group of friends creates an atelier of children-cinema.
He emigrates from Argentina and collaborates with different graphic mediums . Among others with the Folha of Sao Paulo, in Brazil. In 1983 he arrives in Italy where besides continuing his film experience, collaborates in the satiric supplement of the newspaper
LA REPUBBLICA and in the creation of the magazine L'ANAMORFICO directed by Pino Zac and where Topor, Puig Rosado, Desclozeaux, Barbe, Cardon published. In 1985 he arrives in Berlin, where he survived the winters and the fall of the wall, as Filmmaker, Illustrator and Comic Artist.
In 1992 he publishes BLUE TANGO, a comic whose character is Paulo Funes a melancholic detective who comes from the cold and distant south.He collaborates with different German editorials.
Since 2004 he lives and works between Rome and Berlin.
